About Jennie
ABOUT JENNIE
Structured Care. Thoughtful Recovery.
Jennie Sherfey, LMT, MLD-C, CCST, provides structured, stage-aware bodywork focused on recovery, restoration, and continuity of care. Her practice is grounded in clinical understanding, advanced lymphatic training, and a deep respect for the body’s natural healing process. Jennie holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Education in Instructional Systems from Penn State University. She completed her professional massage therapy training at the Pennsylvania Myotherapy Institute and has pursued advanced certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Method), Cosmetic Surgery Therapy (CCST), fertility-focused massage, and foot zonology. Her work integrates anatomical knowledge, tissue-response awareness, and progressive recovery principles. Sessions are guided not by routine, but by presentation — swelling patterns, surgical complexity, mobility restrictions, nervous system state, and medical clearance.
A Perspective Shaped by Both
Training and Experience
Jennie’s approach is informed not only by professional education, but also by personal experience navigating both fertility treatment and cosmetic surgery recovery. After conceiving her first biological child through IUI fertility treatment, she developed a deep respect for cycle-aware care, nervous system regulation, and the emotional complexity surrounding conception support. This experience strengthened her commitment to providing fertility-focused bodywork that is structured, grounded, and aligned with medical treatment timelines. Jennie has also undergone cosmetic surgical procedures, including breast augmentation with revision and mastopexy, as well as full abdominoplasty with diastasis repair and liposuction. Experiencing recovery firsthand reinforced the importance of stage-aware progression, protective positioning, mobility support, and scar-focused care beyond early lymphatic drainage. These lived experiences do not replace clinical training — they deepen it. They inform a calm, practical, and safety-centered approach to recovery work.
Philosophy of Care
Healing is not rushed.
Recovery is not one-size-fits-all.
And transformation is not only physical.
Whether supporting post-operative healing, fertility preparation, or general therapeutic bodywork, Jennie approaches each session with structure, intention, and respect for the body’s timing. Care progresses according to tissue response and readiness — not arbitrary timelines. All services are provided within the scope of licensed massage therapy in Pennsylvania.
